The village of Les Mathes is a busy holiday area on the enchanting Côte de Beauté north of the popular seaside resort of Royan. Backed by vast pine forests, the beaches are noted for their safe bathing and quiet sand dunes where stripping off completely is quite acceptable. A visit to the local zoo at La Palmyre makes a great day out.

A lovely residence with 170 maisonettes in a beautiful setting with trees, flowers and a lake with swans and marked footpath. Unheated outdoor swimming pool (open mid June-mid Sept, swimming trunks required - shorts not permitted) and paddling pool. Tennis court (free), table tennis, boules pitch. On site bakery in July/Aug. Bbqs are not permitted.

Max: 4 - Living room with double sofa bed and kitchenette (mini oven + 2 ring hob). Bath or shower/wc. Mezzanine with 2 single beds. Small garden with furniture.
