This site is at the foot of the famous Dune du Pyla - Europe's highest sand dune (114m tall). It's worth climbing the steps to the top for a fantastic view over the bay of Arcachon and the Landes pine forests. Access to a lovely sandy beach is either by walking over the dune (approximately 30 minutes) or round its circumference, 2.5k (by foot or car).

Just south of the beautiful Arcachon Basin, La Forêt is a 12-hectare site with 450 pitches in a pleasant setting amongst pine trees. There are good facilities, with an entertainment & information service, communal bbq area, children's club, disco & organised boat trips. *If you wish to book a holiday that spans weekly and nightly date bands, to make your reservation please call us on 0871 244 1444.

Max: 4/5 - Chalet style mobile homes have living room with table/chairs, padded seating (converts to sgle bed), satellite tv, kitchen corner (4 ring hob, m/wave), dble & twin bedrm, shower/wc. French windows to wooden terrace with garden furniture.

*Arrival is any day where nightly prices are shown (min 4 nts).

Bed linen hire - 8 euros per sgle bed, 10 euros per dble bed.

End of stay cleaning - 50 euros.

Baby facilities - Cot hire 10 euros per week.

SPORTS - Tennis (free).
