YYA005 Biscarrosse, Domaine de la Rive

Just 18k inland from the Atlantic coast & its famous beaches, Biscarrosse has a wonderful lake making this a great place to be if you're into watersports - or even if you're not. This is also a lovely area for walks or cycling in the Landes forest or you could take a trip to the huge Dune du Pyla, south of Arcachon, for panoramic views.

Domaine de la Rive is a lovely 15 hectare site with 650 pitches by the huge Cazaux-Sanguinet lake, with watersports & a superb private sandy beach. There's masses to do here - so no chance of hearing anyone say they're bored!

Max: 4/5 - Chalet style mobile homes have living room with table/chairs, dble sofa bed, kitchen corner (fridge/freezer, microwave, 4 ring hob, dishwasher), dble & twin bedrm, 2 showers, 2 wcs. French windows to wooden terrace with garden furniture. Free use of communal bbq, or hire of gas bbq 10 euros per day or 50 euros per week May-Aug.

Max: 6 - As above except living room has padding seating that does not convert into a bed and there is only one shower and an extra twin bedrm.

Bed linen hire - 16 euros per bed (request in advance).

End of stay cleaning - 80 euros.

Baby facilities - Cot & high chair hire 16 euros each per stay.

SPORTS - Tennis (free except Jul/Aug), volleyball, table tennis, basketball. Canoeing, sailing (May-Sept).
