La Tranche sur Mer claims to have an 'almost tropical' micro climate as well as a 13k beach of fine sand bordered by dunes & pine trees. It's also a popular windsurfing centre. Visit the picturesque port of Aiguillon sur Mer, the Marais Poitevin marshes or the larger resort of Les Sables d'Olonne just along the coast.

This 11-hectare site, Le Repos du Pêcheur, has 392 pitches in a pleasant setting near a large pine forest & canal (fishing). There's a great choice of activities including 2 pools, & the beautiful beach of La Tranche sur Mer is just 3k away - a free bus service runs twice daily (Jul/Aug) if you prefer to leave your car.

Max: 4/5 - Chalet style mobile homes have living room with table/chairs, padded seating (converts to dble bed), kitchen corner (4 ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer), dble & twin bedrm, 2 showers, wc. French windows to wooden terrace with garden furniture. Free use of communal bbq.

Max: 6 - As above except padding seating in living room does not convert into a bed, there is only one shower and an extra twin bedrm.

Bed linen hire - (disposable type) 7.5 euros per dble, 5 euros per sgle bed.

End of stay cleaning - 80 euros.

Baby facilities - Cot 15 euros & high chair hire 15 euros per week.

SPORTS - Basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis.
