Just across the water from Noja and in a marvellous setting alongside the sea, the Astuy hotel and apartments are at the far end of Isla Playa but within close proximity of the centre. Somo is just a short drive and from here you can catch the little ferry that crosses the bay to Santander - an ideal way to visit this lovely university city with its seafront gardens, beautiful public parks and cosmopolitan shopping centre without the hassle of having to drive. The fishing port of Santona is not far away and this busy little town also has a super long sandy beach and a good Saturday market.

This newly renovated, 4 storey building with lift houses 24 apartments, all with sea view, and adjoins the hotel. There is a lovely sun terrace with loungers and unusual triangular shaped pool (17m x 7m, at widest point, and 1.6m deep, it is open May-Oct, subject to weather) and guests can also use the hotel facilities which include a bar/cafeteria, a restaurant which serves freshly caught lobster from its own farm, a tv lounge and garage parking (approx. 6 euros/night).
