ZPG001 Camping Moreiras, O Grove

On this beautiful Galician coastline of inlets and islands, O Grove is a small but pretty fishing town with whitewashed houses and lovely beaches. It would be a sin not to try some local shellfish accompanied by a glass or two of the refreshing, slightly sparkling Albariño dry white wine from nearby Cambados, especially as this is supposedly the best place in Europe for seafood and is celebrated as such in October with a festival that attracts visitors from all over the world.

Camping Moreiras is a fairly small site 3k from O Grove and has 125 pitches and 16 chalets. It is beside a rocky beach with sandy coves - great for sunbathing and watersports (hire your equipment on site) - and next to the site is an aquarium, built into the rocks. Campsite facilities include a cafeteria, bar/restaurant and small supermarket (open mid June-mid Sept).

Max: 3/5 - Compact wooden chalets have kitchenette (2-ring hob, no oven) in dining area (+ tv) which leads out onto a terrace with patio furniture. Triple (single + bunk beds) and double bedrooms. Shower/wc. Limited storage space.
