Zoos and Aquaria

Portsmouth's Blue Reef Aquarium overlooks the Solent and immerses visitors in the beauty of the natural world that exists in our seas. With tropical sharks and rays, a Southern Stingray,  and various kinds of ocean predator, including jellyfish, the Aquarium is a fascinating taste of what life is like under the ocean. There are also amphibians, reptiles, crustaceans, and a cute family of otters at home in the innovative indoor freshwater display. The aquarium's heart is a giant tropical reef tank with a carefully tended coral reef and hundreds of brightly-coloured reef fish that you can explore with a walk-through tunnel.
