Bois de Vincennes

Ile de France
Great Outdoors

Head out to the edge of the city for some outdoors fun at the Bois de Vincennes! Home to 4 lakes, a 15 hectare zoo, and even a Buddhist temple, the Bois de Vincennes has much to offer all the family.

Get active on the lakes in a boat or canoe, go horserideing, cycling, jogging or even rollerblading around the 32km of paths or simply enjoy the fresh air with a quiet stroll whilst the kids run around in the play areas.

At the north end of the park is the 14th century Château de Vincennes, which is open to the public, whilst there is also a racecourse and an arboretum of over 2000 trees to the south and the beautiful Parc Floral, full of horticultural curiosities, in the east.
