Event - Rock! A Nantes story, exhibition
An exhibition to understand why Nantes is a rock city!

The Nantes scene is today recognised as one of the richest in France. A story written over six decades. By the pioneers of the 1960s at the Mauduit salons. By Tri Yann and their millions of records sold. That driven by the social rock of Tequila, the Celtic-Finnish blend of EV, the whimsical hits of Elmer Food Beat and power rock of Dolly. The one traced with elegance by Dominique A, Jeanne Cherhal and Philippe Katerine, or more recently by C2C and Christine and The Queens. A political and social story that has been written in rehearsal rooms, studios, bars and halls, on local radios and in record stores, by activists and artists from the shadows.Nine large chrono-thematic sections draw the route of the exhibition from the 1960s to today, in an immersive scenography full of music, with over 120 titles to hear, thanks to an original auditory system of festival cups.
