Food and Drink

The Loire Valley is home to countless vineyards, many of which you can visit for a tour and tasting. Created in 1859, the Caves de Grenelle is the last independent family-owned sparkling wine house in the area and offers a fun and educational discovery area for adults and children with an introduction into wine tasting, the winegrowers year and other exhibits. Their cellars are underground in the quarried caves of tuffeau stone where it is constantly 12°C - a perfect environment for aging their sparkling white wines. Enjoy a tasting in these cellars at the end of your guided tour, which is available in English.
