Galicia is our first newly built ship for over a decade. And whilst she’s based on our decades of experience, she’ll also be the first ship in our fleet to fully embody our renewed brand, and our new promises to you, our passengers.
On board you’ll find fresh new concepts, contemporary design, and an immersive and fun take on sea travel, with new discoveries to make as you sail to your destination.
Combining our know-how with art, design and the very latest technology, Galicia tells many stories. From our own heritage and culture, to that of the destinations we serve, she’ll also reveal our love for the ocean and explain what we’re doing to protect and improve the seas we sail.
We look forward to you joining us for the journey...

SEA TRAVEL EXHIBITION
Celebrating the sea and mapping your journey to and from Santander on board Galicia, the Sea Travel Exhibition is one of two immersive rooms on board. And another Brittany Ferries first!
From your departure and arrival ports and landmarks along the way, to discovering the marine life of the Bay of Biscay – a hotspot for whales and dolphins – here, you’ll learn about Brittany Ferries, our destinations, our relationship with the sea, our environmental partners and more.
It’s a great experience for all passengers, with TV a display, interactive tablets and an interactive kiosk featuring sea themed games.
THE HOUSE OF LAS MENINAS
Continuing our long-held tradition of art on board, The House of Las Meninas, is an immersive experience, celebrating one of Spain’s most famous and enigmatic paintings.
Created by Diego Velázquez in 1656, Las Meninas, or ‘The Ladies-in-waiting' has been captivating the world for over three centuries, with countless philosophers and critics debating, and other artists, including Picasso, inspired by the painting’s composition and how it plays with perspective, light and illusion.
From written and interactive analysis to games and a (digital) meeting with Velázquez himself, whether you’re an art-lover or not, this room is sure to ignite your interest.
It is also home to one of two original life-size sculptures on board, La Menina Rockera, created by Miguel Angel Craviotto for a unique outdoor exhibition, ‘Meninas Madrid Gallery’.
Meet Diego Velázquez as he reveals some secrets behind his own masterpiece.
KIDS’ PLAY AREAS
Kids will have plenty to enjoy and discover whilst on board. Inside, Deck’s 7 and 8 host interactive play areas, with fun play structures, games and interactive screens. There’s something to learn too, with each focussing on the sea and our destinations.
But, whilst these interactive experiences offer a great way of entertaining and educating, we also know the importance of fresh air and active play, which can be found in our play area, located on our Sun Deck.
On Deck 8, discover some fun interactive screens.
Play and win with our digital game, The Captain’s Wheel. With one free spin during your crossing, you’ll be in the chance of winning an array of prizes, including a free ferry crossing.
Another game sees you steering your choice of Brittany Ferries ship to your destination, whilst tackling all sorts of obstacles along the way. Will you reach our leader board?

Located in the heart of the ship, our boutique is a true shopping destination.
Here you’ll find all your holiday shopping favourites – perfumes, cosmetics, wines, spirits and tech – alongside a selection of regional inspired products, souvenirs and ethical goods. All chosen with you in mind. You’ll also find a selection of light bites and snacks.
OPEN AIR GYM
But, it’s not all about technology. With resistance, cardio and stretch machines, Galicia’s outdoor gym – yet another Brittany Ferries first – is a great place for those wanting to feel a bit more active during their crossing. There’s no costly membership either, with equipment free to use by all passengers.
