Description

So much more than just a ferry port, Ouistreham is a charming little seaside resort with lots to offer. As well as a fabulous sandy beach it has a casino, a couple of museums, tennis courts and a sailing club as well as a thalassotherapy centre, mini golf and horse riding. It also has a small but pretty pedestrian centre lined with shops, bars and a good selection of restaurants, and there is a decent wine warehouse where you can stock up before going home. The Normandie is just a few minutes on foot or by car from the ferry terminal and has a fine restaurant renowned for its excellent cuisine which promotes dishes from the region using local produce. The bedrooms, which are in the main building and the annexe opposite, are simple but comfortable.

For early ferry departures please note breakfast is served in room.
