Description

The Ar Milin' is an old stone watermill in attractive spacious grounds that are open to the public and include a tennis and volleyball court plus a lake complete with resident ducks and geese! It has both a gourmet restaurant and a lunchtime bistro where you can dine on the terrace overlooking the lake when the weather allows. Bedrooms are generally in the modern annexe (Hotel du Parc) 200m behind whilst superior rooms overlooking the river and with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are in the mill itself. Brittany's gracious capital (and rock music centre) Rennes is close at hand, and boasts a treasure trove of museums and fascinating medieval streets whilst quieter towns to visit are Vitré and Fougères.

Restaurant closed Sun (Oct-end Mar).
