Can I visit my pet during the crossing?

How frequently you can visit your pet during your sailing depends on which ship you are travelling on and how you have chosen to accommodate your pet.

If your pet is staying in your vehicle

For security reasons, visits are limited to one person per vehicle for a maximum of 15 minutes. For exact visiting times, please ask a member of crew at the information desk. Pets must stay inside the vehicle as the purpose of these visits is to check on their well-being only.

All visits are subject to operational/weather conditions and the captain reserves the right to change or refuse visits at any time.

If you are travelling on Normandie Express, you will not be allowed to visit your pet during your sailing.

If your pet is staying a kennel

On Bretagne, you will usually be allowed to visit your pet twice during day sailings and once on overnight sailings. These visits are subject to operational/weather conditions and the captain reserves the right to change or refuse visits at any time.

On Cap Finistère, the kennels are accessible at all times except during a short cleaning period, usually in the early hours of the morning.

On Pont-Aven, the kennels are accessible at all times. Access is gained through a metal caged door (via a security swipe card keypad, card issued at check-in).
