Facilities & Entertainment on Normandie

(COVID-19) To ensure the safety of both our passengers and crew, life on board has changed - new procedures are in place and facilities may be limited.

On board the Normandie you'll find plenty of facilities to keep you occupied during your sailing. As well as cinema's, games rooms and shops, you can also take a stroll around the ship and enjoy some time on the sun deck - which is bliss on a clear day.

There's plenty of space to move around on board with an open plan feel, and lots of areas to relax. In the a la carte and self service restaurants passengers can enjoy a superb choice of menu options, as well as hot and cold snacks from the café.

Les Boutiques

Our boutiques on decks 7 and 9 offer a fine range of spirits, wine, tobacco, perfumes & cosmetics, leather goods, confectionery, toys, fashion, decoration, souvenirs, newspapers, games, cameras, sunglasses, jewellery...

Wines, spirits and tobacco are sold in our onboard shops at French prices, which means they cannot be purchased within UK territorial waters - the shops may open for browsing, and sales of other goods closer to the UK, but we are not allowed to sell passengers alcohol and tobacco within 20 minutes of the UK port. The purchase of alcoholic beverages is prohibited to persons under 18.

Purchases made on board may be paid for in Euros or Sterling. Payment can be made in cash, by credit or debit card. Prices are shown in both currencies and you can combine different payment methods.

There are 2 cinemas onboard where you can catch some of the latest films (including some for the kids). They are situated on deck 7.

Both cinemas have comfortable seating and are equipped with surround sound for a true cinema experience. We offer a selection of the latest releases with genres for the whole family to enjoy.

Tickets are on sale at the Information Desk 15 minutes after departure priced at £6.50 per adult and £5.00 per child.

We adapt entertainment for each crossing on Normandie, reflecting the ages of passengers on board. Pierre Le Bear often makes an appearance around the ship, meeting and chatting with passengers. In the main bar, there’s a mix of children’s activities and fun for all, including inter-active quizzes and games, vocal sets from the ships’ singers – even the occasional silent disco!

Younger passengers will be entertained by children’s entertainers during the school holidays as well.

Collect your sailing’s entertainment programme from the ship’s information desk, or see the display board at the main bar.

The video games room on deck 8 featuring the latest video games will keep teenagers entertained throughout the trip.

Children's playroom
