Arriving at your property
Your accommodation will generally be ready for you to arrive between 4pm and 6pm and you are requested to leave by 10am. Please bear this in mind when booking your ferry crossings.
Description of Accommodation
7k west of Potes & close to the little farming village of Camaleño, Casa La Fragua is alongside the main Potes-Fuente Dé road in the heart of the Picos, ideal for those who like walking. The cable car is within very easy reach as is the lovely town of Potes which has an interesting old quarter, tempting restaurants and souvenir shops, and a splendid Monday market. It is also a popular centre for outdoor pursuits and in September it hosts an annual music festival in the main square. Simply furnished, this single storey house has a friendly & welcoming owner and a lovely rear garden with fig trees, alongside which there is a small, shallow river - an ideal setting for relaxing on warm sunny days.
Large, open plan living room has fitted kitchen area (m/wave & hob only - no oven), tv & dble sofa bed. Dble bedrm. Shower room/wc. C/heating. Lovely garden with furniture.
There is a £26 supplement per night for stays between 28 and 31 March.

Two septaguanarian naturalists who enjoyed a return visit to the Picos which we first explored with our 3 little boys back in about 1974. A big bonus is the cool shade by the river Deva in the later afternoon with fluttering blue black beautiful damoiselle and coppery orange dragonflies dancing over the water!
