Rock in Evreux
23-24 June
Head for Evreux's famous racecourse for the Rock in Evreux festival that's not just about rock music (although there is more than plenty of that to go around!). You'll also find some great electronic and hiphop vibes going down here. This year, British band, The Prodigy, are amongst the big names taking part.

Hello Birds
30 June - 2 July
The stunning cliffs at Etretat make a memorable backdrop for the Hello Birds free festival by the sea. Enjoy nature and some fantastic food in this incredible setting as live shows and DJ sets while away the hours. The line up is still to be announced - but it's bound to be good!

Beauregard Festival
7-9 July
This festival is known for having a big line-up and 2017 is no exception. Iggy Pop, Foals, Placebo, Editors and Echo and the Bunnymen are all hitting the stage at the Beauregard Festival this year. Alt rock is the order of the day in the gardens of the pretty Château de Beauregard, just minutes from central Caen.

Green Horse Festival
7-9 July
In the heart of the Norman countryside, the Green Horse Festival at Mauquenchy racecourse is a home for electronic and acoustic music. Roger Hodgson from Supertramp, Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are just a few of the names in attendance this year.

Pete the Monkey
13-15 July
An intimate festival by the sea, Pete the Monkey is a unique and artistic event that's been nominated for awards and lauded as a 'hidden paradise' by La Monde. If you like your festivals chilled then this is for you with synth sounds from Fishbach and Agar Agar and Amazonian funk from Los Wemblers de Iquitos.

Cabourg mon Amour
28-30 July
Another cosy festival on the beach, at Cabourg mon Amour you'll find some great indie and alternative bands. South Londoner, Loyle Carner, 70s-esque retro-pop band, Parcels, and hip-hop and R & B artist, Princess Nokia, are a few of those whose sets are worth checking out.
