2. Armor Lux - Morlaix

It's one of those quintessentially Breton images - fishermen bringing in a catch wearing their stripy tops. And Armor Lux has been providing Bretons with these jumpers since 1938. The brand is known throughout the region with shops in many towns including Morlaix and the brand's home town of Quimper.

There's a fantastic range of tops and jumpers for all the family - from the littlest ones (including some adorable stripy babygrows) to the grown ups, and a whole host of other outdoorsy clothing with a nautical theme that's inspired by Brittany's affinity with the sea.

3. Cidres Domaine de Kervéguen - Guimaëc

The Breton climate is perfect for apple-growing and you'll see orchards all around the region bursting with fruit. From these apples comes some truly fantastic ciders - clear or cloudy, dry or sweet, light or strong - all made from the finest apple juice using traditional, hand-made methods.

See if you can find your favourite at the Domaine de Kervéguen in Guimaëc, established in 1997, where you can visit the cider farm and its seven hectares of orchards before sampling some of the best cider that Brittany has to offer.
