Paris has many museums to visit but one of the best, after the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay, of course, is the Musée National du Moyen Age, a museum of the Middle Ages. Housed inside a beautiful 15th century abbey building, inside you can discover fantastic artefacts from Gallo-Roman times and the Middle Ages.
The museum's biggest draw is the six Lady and the Unicorn tapestries which are hung here in series for visitors to enjoy. You can also visit the ruins of the ancient Roman baths, the Thermes de Cluny, that exist below the abbey building and date from the 2nd to 3rd centuries. Perfect for history buffs or those with a curiosity about the Middle Ages alike.
