Event - Les Rendez-vous de l'Erdre
Jazz and messing about on the river.

A major event in the late summer season, and a key festival on Nantes' cultural calendar, Les Rendez-vous de l'Erdre combines the pleasures of jazz music and boating on the river.

Concerts will be staged on a string of barges along the Erdre, and over 150,000 spectators are expected to attend over three days. This travelling performance will be journeying from Nantes to Nort-sur-Erdre, Sucé-sur-Erdre, La Chapelle-sur-Erdre and Carquefou. Everyone is invited to enjoy free concerts and a number of "villages" on the banks: cultural meeting places brimming with activities and events.

Since 2005 the Rendez-Vous de l'Erdre has boasted a rich programme which includes all kinds of jazz: traditional, electro-jazz, blues, modern jazz and so on. Enjoy the delightful sounds of jazz as you discover and admire a flotilla of 200 boats from around France and Europe.
