Discover more than 600 animals in a 40-acre wooded park. Go through the parrot jungle, see the African plain, the monkey islands, the South American plain, the wolves' territory and the new 'Mountains of Africa', a 40m deep quarry. In high season the zoo has free activities - snake contact, penguins' picnic, wolves' dinner and lemurs' tea party. Children can visit the new mini farm, become a 'keeper' and care for the goats & chickens. Other new additions include red pandas, the bat aviary and reptile village. There is also a playground, self-service cafeteria, snacks, shop, baby facilities and free parking.
