Seasonal Port Operations Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time, seasonal contract from March to September 2020.
Salary: Temporary position with initial salary of £19,837 per annum, with the opportunity of a permanent contract and increased salary to £21,640 after six months employment.
Job Description: We are seeking candidates who can deliver excellent service and provide a great customer experience as part of our dedicated Port Operations team in Portsmouth.
Full-Time Port Operations Assistants work an average of 37.5 hours per week in shifts, to cover either early morning or late night opening hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
This role is highly customer focused and suits individuals who possess a considerable degree of flexibility, a clear enthusiasm for variation and an ability to work under pressure.
Main duties include engaging with our passengers to deliver an exceptional check-in service, making bookings and answering queries, both in person and over the phone.

- Strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role beneficial
- French or Spanish language skills would be an advantage

Full training and uniform provided. Successful candidates are required to be available to start on Monday 9 March
