Facilities on board Etretat
(COVID-19) To ensure the safety of both our passengers and crew, life on board has changed - new procedures are in place and facilities may be limited.
Located on Deck 5, Etretat has one self-service restaurant. Although smaller than the restaurants on our classic services, it does offer a selection of tasty hot and cold dishes, as well as snacks and desserts. There is no café or à la carte restaurant on board.
Free Wi-Fi internet access
Wi-Fi Internet access is provided free of charge to passengers and can be accessed in the lounge areas and bar on deck 5. You need to log-on to the Internet@Sea network, using the access details provided on your boarding card or cabin key. For more information please visit our Wi-Fi page or enquire at the Information Desk on board.
Situated in the middle of deck 5, Le Bar serves Stella Artois on draught as well as San Miguel, Budweiser, Magners Cider and ales by the bottle. There is also a selection of French wines, spirits, soft drinks as well as crisps and snacks.
Fun and Games
During the crossing we have a range of board games and puzzles available to borrow from the Information Desk. These include Draughts, Chess, Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Cluedo and Snakes & Ladders, in addition to jigsaw puzzles and memory games.
There is a small shop on Deck 5 offering a limited selection of spirits, wine, tobacco, perfume and cosmetics, confectionery and newspapers.
Wines, spirits and tobacco are sold at French prices, which means they cannot be purchased within UK territorial waters - the shop may open for browsing, and sales of other goods closer to the UK, but we are not allowed to sell passengers alcohol and tobacco within 20 minutes of the UK port. The purchase of alcoholic beverages is prohibited to persons under 18.
Purchases made on board may be paid for in Euros or Sterling. Payment can be made in cash, by credit or debit card. Prices are shown in both currencies and you can combine different payment methods.
There is a movie lounge on board where you can catch some of the latest films. This is situated on deck 5 and tickets are on sale at the Information Desk. These are priced at £6.50 per adult and £5.00 per child.
Etretat features deck space so you can stretch your legs and enjoy a place to relax, while enjoying the sea air and great views, particularly when entering or leaving the port. Please note some outdoor areas are only accessible via stairs.
There are 13 Pet-friendly cabins on board Etretat (located in a dedicated corridor) available to both Santander and Le Havre. However, there are no kennels and pets on both routes are not permitted to stay in vehicles during the crossing. There is a small dog exercise area located at the back of deck 6 (approximately 15m long), with easy access from the Pet-friendly cabins which are located on the Starboard side of the ship.
