Your customs guidelines - travelling from / to the EU from the UK
There is a limit to the number of duty free products you can bring back. Your allowance will vary depending on whether you are travelling to an EU country from the UK or returning to the UK from the EU.

This allowance is the maximum you can bring back whether bought duty free or duty paid. Duty paid items are any items purchased in France or Spain i.e. in supermarkets, shops etc. Should you exceed this, you will be charged duty on the full amount in your possession.
Passengers aged over 18 years travelling between the United Kingdom (UK) and France or Spain (EU) may purchase the above items for personal use without paying tax or duty. It is each individual’s responsibility to ensure that they do not exceed their allowances. If you do not declare any additional items to customs, you will be required to pay the tax or duty, or have your items seized.
